Classical Art

The Romans, Greek and Egyptians made some of the most enduring and appealing buildings and art. Buildings such as the Coliseum, Parthenon, Acropolis and Pyramids feature incredibly appealing art forms and motifs in forms such as bas reliefs, architecture, statues and mosaics. In the period ~1650 to 1900, European and American aristocracy became fascinated by classical culture and archaeology.
