Roman Baths & Temple. Thermae Novatian Ae Hodie Templum Pudentianae
Titled 'Thermae novatian ae hodie templum pudentianae'. The Novatian Baths in Rome were part of the house of the Pudens family. There is a legend that a Roman senator Pudente gave Saint Peter shelter in 50 AD. His daughters asked that a church be built on the site of the house. The site is now the Church of Saint Pudentiana.
