Water Bird Art

Water birds are birds which inhabit freshwater. They include ducks, geese, swans and flamingoes. In days gone by, water birds were often owned by the upper classes as part of the "country manor" style they liked to have in their park like gardens and lakes. Hence there are many excellent, old works of art featuring water birds. Our water bird art is inspired by vintage illustrations from the period 1600 to 1920. We make them with superb pigmented inks and heavyweight 300gsm German fine art paper made from 100% cotton and spring water.
