Bromeliad Art

Our bromeliad art prints are inspired by vintage botanical illustrations from the period 1600 to 1920.
We make them with superb pigmented inks and heavyweight 300gsm German fine art paper made from 100% cotton and spring water.
Bromeliads are incredible plants. Bromeliads were first described by Europeans during Christopher Coumbus's second voyage to the New World in 1493. At least 3,000 species are known and all except one occur only in the Americas. Most collect and store water in their base. Many have beautiful foliage and unusual and highly colored flowers. Did you know the pineapple is a bromeliad?
