Emil Hanselmann of Stuttgart in Germany specialized in making prints to educate children. He published his best known prints in the 1870s. These were hand colored lithographs of the animal kingdom, and are notable for the clever way they portray many animals in their native scenery.
Our fine art prints are inspired by antique illustrations. We make them with superb pigmented inks and heavyweight German fine art paper made from 100% cotton and spring water.
