Fine art prints by Harder, Heinrich

Heinrich Harder was one of the best illustrators of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals.
He was a German artist and naturalist, known for painting murals of extinct creatures for Berlin Zoo and for making a life sized Iguanodon sculpture for the main entrance. Harder became an art professor at Berlin University. His depictions of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals remain some of the best of all time.
Harder had a great imagination and could visualise the animals in the scenery they might have inhabited, based on scant fossil records of the time. Remarkably, his illustrations are still considered reference material.
Here are some fine art prints of his best ones for you to choose from. We make them with superb pigmented inks and heavyweight canvas.
