Historical Map Art

Antique maps were made to educate people via atlases, and to document voyages and travels. These historical maps make a great centre piece for an art collection, for example an antique map of Africa could be grouped with pictures of animals from Africa. The best original antique maps tend to be the most elaborate and oldest. The best maps are usually extremely expensive and rare and often in poor condition due to handling. 
Our fine art prints of historical maps are affordable and are based on antique maps from over 100 years ago. We have remastered the images to remove major faults and restore faded colours.
We make them with superb pigmented inks and heavyweight 300gsm German fine art paper made from 100% cotton and spring water.
