People were often portrayed in antique illustrations to highlight the customs, fashions and costumes of different cultures. From ~1550 to 1900 ad, Europeans travelled around the world seeking opportunities in trade and colonisation. They were fascinated by the people they encountered. Most expeditions employed artists to record their discoveries, including different people. Our people art prints are based on these vintage artworks. We make them with superb pigmented inks and heavyweight 300gsm German fine art paper made from 100% cotton and spring water.
