Features Chrysanthemum carinatum var. burridgeanum native to Morocco.
The name chrysanthemum is derived from the Greek words, chrysos (gold) and anthemon (flower). Chrysanthemums were first cultivated in China as a flowering herb as far back as the 15th century BC.
Based on a botanical illustration from the 1890s by Edward Step, which we have carefully restored and enhanced.Read about how we make our fine art prints here.
