
Prehistoric Rhinoceros (Das Teleoceras)
A prehistoric Rhinoceros with two horns. The German name for the animal was "Das Teleocerasm". They were Rhinoceros-like herbivores with a body more like a hippo. Fossils dating back 5 million years have been found in America and France.
Based on an antique print from the early 1900s by Heinrich Harder, which we have carefully restored and enhanced.
