Features a beautiful lotus flower or water lily (Nymphaea thermalis), a plant variety endemic to the thermal water of the Peţa River (Bihor County, Transylvania, Romania). The rivulet and lake have a constant temperature of 30-31°C. It was declared a natural monument in 1931.
Based on a lithograph made in the mid 1800s by Louis van Houtte., which we have carefully restored and enhanced.
