Thomas Meehan was Professor of Vegetable Physiology to the Pennsylvania State Board of Agriculture and editor of The Gardeners' Monthly in the late 1800s. He is best known for his work attempting to describe and illustrate the entire flora of the USA. His prints are after water colors by the excellent botanical artist Alois Lunzer.
Our fine art prints are inspired by antique illustrations. We make them with superb pigmented inks and heavyweight German fine art paper made from 100% cotton and spring water.
