Vintage Hot Air Balloon Art

Discover fine art prints of hot air balloons.
The era of flight began in 1783 when the Montgolfier brothers revealed their invention, the hot-air balloon, in France. They were wealthy paper manufacturers and had observed that hot air blown into a paper or fabric bag made it rise. Early hot air balloons were beautiful and often fanciful. Consequently, ballooning prints of the 18th and 19th centuries are renowned amongst collectors.
Choose from our fine art prints of hot air balloons. They are based on beautiful antique illustrations.
